Roster's Starting To Take Shape

With the 2021/22 season fast approaching, summer training is in full flow following the club's return to the ice following the Covid-19 lockdowns.

In excess of 80 players have laced up their skates with the club so far, as the coaching team consider squad selections for the season ahead.

Coach Will Fry said, "Training has been fantastic so far, we started back just finding our feet again and expected it to take much longer than it has to get up to speed. We're now working our First Team group at a really high pace, and our development players are progressing well and working hard. The most important thing is that everyone is having fun and enjoying being back on the ice after a very tough stretch!"

Looking ahead to next season he discussed potential signings and key returning players, "I think we have a really good base to build our rosters on for next season, a lot of our core guys are back and we've had a lot of very talented players training with us over the summer who I'm hoping will have an interest in signing to bolster our Cup squad. From a development squad perspective we've taken on a new wave who are passionate about improving, and we'll look to get more progressive challenges for them throughout the season. It's going to be a great year!"

This season's signing window will commence from the 31st July, you can follow all the news right here.
